About Kenji - Fort Minor

The song Kenji by Fort Minor explains the life of Mike's grandfather in America after settling down from Japan. He was treated badly because he was Japanese, and American's during 1905 didn't like Japanese people at all. Even though no-one like him, he still got up every morning and made breakfast for his family, and went to work at his store that he owned. Everything turned black when Ken walked outside. He saw that the Japanese had just bombed Pearl Harbor, and the American's were kicking Japanese people out of their homes and putting them in concentration camps. The only way Kenji knew how to free his family was to join the army. Sadly, soon after he joined, he ended up flying a plane to Japan to bomb them. This turned his world upside down. When Kenji got back from the fight, the soldiers still treated him and his family like crap. Soon after getting home, he died, leaving his wife and the kids alone, but a little while after World War II, the American's let all Japanese people go.

Here is a youtube video for the song Kenji - Fort Minor, this will better sum up what I just said.
